I'm on my third one of these. Its THE thing i cant leave the house without. I find you can never have too much of it an as it looks really natural. Four people i know have it too. Anyway i have the lightest shade and it matches my skin perfectly and gives the right amount of coverage and stops my face looking shiny or anything.
Pros:matches my skin Cons:the price, the powder breaks if you drop it
If the shade was a better match, I may have liked this better. When I apply it, if I pat it on, instead of wiping or brushing motion across my face, it will actually give a very flawless matte finish - covers almost everything! But with my oily skin, I have to be sure to pat, not swipe or off slide the foundation. It also wasn't enough oil-control for my liking....always on the search....
Didn't break me out, or clog pores (to my knowledge), didn't irritate my skin, I could feel it on though - didn't feel light like other powders do. Most pressed powders do not feel as light wearing as a loose powder though.
Pros:compact, great coverage Cons:shade not exactly right for me, not enough oil control
I liked this, and didn't cause me to break out, but it was average in controlling oil. It's performance is less compared to the Prescriptives Virtual Matte Pressed Powder.
I didn't buy this again because I wanted something more finely milled, and matched my skintone better, and maybe controlled oil a bit more. If it had a different shade I may or may not purchase again.
Pros:Average at controlling oil, doesn't cause me to breakout Cons:Color selection, not as finely milled as I wanted, and not HIGH on oil control
I use this powder over foundation when I want to touch up my
makeup after a long day or if I'm going out. I have it in 01 matte
ivory and it suits my pale skin very nicely. It looks natural too. The
packaging is cute, comes with a handy mirror and a sponge, but I've
only used a brush so far. Would use the sponge to get more
coverage.
Pros:Looks natural, cute packaging, good colors Cons:A bit expensive
i am a powder girl. this powder is one of the best. it has many colors to choose from. stays on me the whole day. i dont use foundation with it. with other powders i do use foundation on my shinny Tzone. i use it with a brush.
Pros:stays on about 8hrs. full coverage. looks very natural. Cons:
This power is a must if you have oily skin. It gives it a wonderful matt finish, and one doesn't even need foundation under the powder to see an noticeble difference. It's long lasting, i.e, evben if using everyday. It's just a wonderful powder...
Pros:Great value for the price, and great finish. Cons:The boring ol' green compact...
Where has this stuff been all of my life?!?! I am so in love! I bought this last weekend and have been wearing it for the last four days! This is one product that really does what it proclaims to do.
Stay-matte is a pressed powder that does deposit color. I'm not sure how extensive the color range is, but I do know that there are at least three more colors aside from the one that I tried - Stay Brandy 11.
I put this on in the morning as the last step of my makeup routine and by mid-day, I was still matte. That is quite an accomplishment for someone with skin as oily as mine.
This is a nice pressed powder that comes in a cute little compact that is in Clinique's signature color. I suppose that this could be used as a light foundation - to even out skintone - since there is color in this powder, but I used it in the same manner that I would normally use MAC Blot Powder, that is, after my makeup application was complete this was used to set and give me a matte appearance. The effects of this powder lasts for hours!! During my work day, I only touched up once and I'm not really sure I HAD to do it then.... I think I did it out of habit more so than necessity.
I have never been a fan of the Clinique line, but I will definitely buy this again for sure! So far, nothing else compares!
**I am not sure of the true price of this product due to I bought it from a CCO store. The $12 listed in this review reflects the CCO price.
I use honey blush. It provides just enough tint to your cheeks and last throughout the day. It does rub off like the face powders and isn't too obvious as far as blushes go.
